Soft-grade microcrystalline wax (melting point 65–70°C, needle penetration 20–30) is flexible and slightly tacky — ideal for cosmetic formulations, hot-melt adhesives, and candle blending where pliability is needed. Medium grade (70–80°C, penetration 10–20) balances hardness and flexibility for rubber processing, coatings, and packaging applications.
Hard grade (80–90°C, penetration 3–10) is the most rigid, suited to industrial coatings, paper lamination, bitumen modification, and high-temperature processing. Choosing the right grade for your application significantly affects end-product performance — our technical team is available to advise.
