This blend is hydrogenated soybean oil compounded with an emulsifier and additive package selected for fragrance retention rather than for a specific origin claim. It is supplied as flakes or slabs in the container melting range and specified by melting point, emulsifier content and recommended fragrance load. The engineering problem it solves is the same one every soy candle maker meets. A triglyceride wax can only dissolve so much fragrance oil before the excess separates on cooling, and the symptoms are familiar: an oily film on the surface, fragrance pooling at the base of the jar, and disappointing throw despite a high dosage, because the oil that has separated is no longer available to evaporate from the melt pool. An emulsifier package binds the fragrance into the wax matrix through the set, so a higher load stays dispersed and actually performs. Because this grade is not constrained to soy-derived emulsifiers, the package can be chosen purely on performance, which generally means higher achievable loading and a more uniform surface than the vegan-constrained equivalent. It is used in high-fragrance container candles, wax melts and tarts, home fragrance ranges and in commercial and private-label production.
