About This Product
These noodles are based on 80% palm oil and 20% palm kernel oil, and their headline figure counts total fatty matter and glycerine together: 78% min. Glycerine makes up 6–9% of the noodle, so the soap content on its own is lower than that combined value. Moisture may not exceed 16%, free alkali is capped at 0.1% as NaOH, chloride lies between 0.4% and 0.8% as NaCl and the titre is 46 °C max. The colour is yellowish and a chelating agent is present. A base at this fatty-matter level is normally finished into toilet and bath bars: perfume, colour and other additives are mixed in before the soap is milled, plodded and stamped. Because the glycerine stays in the noodle, it is carried through into the finished bar, which some soap makers look for in bath and guest soaps. The data sheet gives no packing and does not itself name the oils, so agree the bag type and pallet load at enquiry and confirm the oil blend of the lot offered. Request the up-to-date technical data sheet and SDS together with a per-lot analysis certificate, compare colour against a reference sample, and run trial batches to check how the base processes, lathers and wears in the buyer's own formulation.
