Bio Green Wax supplies premium-grade palm kernel stearin (PKS), the higher-melting solid fraction produced through the controlled fractionation of refined palm kernel oil. During fractionation, palm kernel oil is separated into two components: palm kernel olein (the liquid fraction) and palm kernel stearin (the solid fraction). The resulting stearin is a white to off-white fat with a characteristically sharp melting point and firm texture.

Palm kernel stearin is rich in lauric acid (C12) and myristic acid (C14), giving it excellent hardness, rapid crystallisation, and a clean melt profile. These properties make it an ideal ingredient for cocoa butter substitutes (CBS), compound chocolate coatings, confectionery fillings, and specialty fats where a snap and gloss finish are required.

Beyond food applications, palm kernel stearin serves as a valuable feedstock in the oleochemical industry for the production of fatty acids, fatty alcohols, soap noodles, and surfactants. In personal care and cosmetics, it contributes body and structure to creams, lotions, and solid formulations.
